Please take a look at this most welcome Press Release. Our Tri-Conic Challenge for this year - planned for Canada Day, Sunday, July 1st will, yes it will, feature the 1929 Steam Locomotive just as we did for the very successful No. 7 Challenge in 2016. Our event features a 10k, a 1/2 marathon and yes a full marathon all of which conclude at the McLean Mill National Historic Site near Port Alberni. There will be family events, a beer garden*, free burger/beer for registrants - those of age and lots more to see and do. http://www.triconic.ca Plus....this event will showcase the 61st Annual Canada Day Parade as well! Our Runners will head north on 3rd Avenue while the Parade heads south at the same time. The Train of course will be alongside also heading north while desparately trying to beat the runners.
