Event Date
In response to questions raised by businesses located in the vicinity of the Overdose Prevention Site (OPS) the Port Alberni Shelter Society (PASS) quickly offered to host an event where their team of professionals wish to engage with the Community through dialogue on the progress they are making in this most challenging environment. We at the Chamber thank their leadership for agreeing to not one but two recent meetings where we were invited to share comments of business owners received by us over the past few weeks.
The PASS offered to sponsor an OPIOID DIALOGUE Chamber Luncheon now scheduled for 12:00nn on Thursday, April 21st at Chances Rim Rock. Their generosity enables us to offer tickets at a very low price of $10.00 pp (plus GST) - much less than the cost of lunch itself. The presentation will be delivered by Kristine Douthwright - Deputy Director of PASS. Other representatives of PASS will be in attendance and all are willing to field questions.
Attendees will be reminded to keep comments respectful and be courteous at all times.
